The curious cat on the stairs
There's plenty to discover while coloring. The cat's fur with its stripes or spots, the pointy ears, the curved tail, and of course the stairs themselves, which are perfect for patterns and color gradients. The railing and small details in the background also invite little artists to take a closer look with their pencils.
Tip: Get creative with the fur
Whether striped like a tiger in orange and brown, elegant in gray and white, or completely imagined in turquoise and purple: when it comes to fur color, there are no limits to the imagination. Muted tones like beige or wood brown work well for the stairs, but colorful steps also look cheerful and turn the picture into a little work of art.
Maybe you and your child can come up with a little story together: Is the cat waiting for its family to come through the door, or has it simply found a cozy spot to watch from? Stories like these make coloring even more lively. You can download this coloring page for free, print it at home in A4, and the colorful afternoon can begin.
