Little Singers Bring Christmas Cheer to the Door
What makes this picture special is the mix of anticipation and togetherness you can feel just by looking at it. Your child can color the singers' hats and scarves in bright shades, decorate the front door with a festive wreath, or suggest the snow on the ground with fine white dots. The windows in the background also offer plenty of room for warm, yellow candlelight.
Coloring idea: A celebration of warm colors
Bold shades of red, green, and mustard, so typical of the Christmas season, work beautifully for the children's clothing. You can color the lanterns in bright yellow or orange so they really seem to glow. The night sky can shine in a deep blue, perhaps even with a few sparkling stars dotted in white or silver paint.
Imagine the children in the picture are singing the last verse of a well-known Christmas carol, while inside, hot cocoa is already warming on the stove. You can keep spinning this little story together while the crayons glide across the paper. The coloring page can be downloaded for free and printed conveniently at home on standard letter size, so nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon full of crayons and songs.
