A Moon Mandala for Dreaming and Coloring
Here your child can discover a big, round moon, framed by delicate patterns, little stars and curved lines that drift outward like moonbeams. Some fields are tiny and call for steady hands, while others are nice and large, perfect for first attempts at coloring. This way, a simple picture turns into a little journey of discovery through shapes and spaces.
Coloring idea: From light to dark
A lovely trick for this design is to start with the lightest colors in the middle and get darker toward the outside. This creates a soft gradient that really makes the moon glow. Silver-gray, soft yellow and a deep midnight blue go especially well together and conjure up a true night-sky mood on paper.
If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with it, for example about a moon that wears a new pattern every night. You can download the moon mandala for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and your calm coloring time in the evening or in between can begin.
