Parrotfish Nibbling on Coral Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a parrotfish doing exactly what parrotfish love to do most: nibbling at a coral with its strong beak. Sounds funny, but it's totally normal underwater, and it makes this picture both lively and a little bit silly at the same time.

The nibbling parrotfish and its colorful coral
Your child can discover the fish's striking scale patterns here, the round coral with its many little branches, and of course all the colorful hustle and bustle you can imagine around a coral reef. Plenty of room for imagination and for colors that might never shine quite this bright in the real ocean.
Coloring tip: Bold and bright instead of just blue
Parrotfish didn't get their name for nothing, so feel free to go really bright. Turquoise, pink, yellow, and green can happily take turns across the scales, just like on real specimens. The coral can be colored in warm orange tones or in a cool purple, depending on which underwater world your child feels like creating today.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: the parrotfish is hungry and nibbles its way through the reef, bit by bit, until all that's left is the finest sand, which the current carries away. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then it's time to grab crayons, wax pencils, or watercolors, whatever happens to be within reach.
