A zebra gallops through tall savanna grass
What makes this picture so special are the many little details all around. Besides the zebra itself, there are plenty of blades of grass, a few clouds in the sky, and enough open space for your child to let their imagination run wild. The bold black-and-white stripes are the real challenge here, and at the same time the most fun part to color in.
Tip: stripes first, background last
It's easiest if your child first traces or colors in the zebra's black stripes and leaves the white in between blank. After that, the savanna can come to life: juicy green and warm yellow for the tall grass, a soft blue for the sky, maybe even a bold orange for a setting sun in the background. You can even tell a little story to go along with it, for example why the zebra is in such a hurry, maybe on its way to its herd or simply enjoying the thrill of running.
The best part: you can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home with ease, ideally on a regular A4 sheet. Then it's time to grab the crayons, colored pencils, or markers, whichever your child loves best.
